Moredocfe is a family owned organic coffee company specializing in high quality, shade-grown, organic coffee production, processing and marketing. Moredocofe maintains its own family farm located in the jungles of the Dawa Basin. It’s approximately 520 km south of Addis Ababa in the Guji Zone of the Oromia Regional State.

Moredocofe was established in 2001 by the Haile Gebre Family. Haile was born and raised in the Guji, Oromia region. After working in sustainable rural development for over 32 years he fulfilled one of his life long passions to establish a family coffee business in his native area. Today, Haile Gebre’s Family continues to run and manage Moredocofe Coffee, maintaining a commitment to producing one of the finest coffee’s from Africa.

Even though Moredocofe is a relatively young producer, it has quickly established itself as one of the top coffees’s produced and exported from Ethiopia.  Our success has come from a commitment to producing not just a fine coffee but preserving our local environment. Moredocofe grows only shade grown, organic coffee certified Rainforest Alliance and Bird Friendly. By preserving our local environment our coffee is able to be grown in its ancient wild form, the way nature intended!
